Hi there
I wanted to find out if anyone had tried hypnotherapy (for whatever reasons i.e. smoking, phobias, weight loss) here in Singapore and if it had worked? I am looking for a very highly recommended hypnotherapist and want to make sure that I find the best one so if anyone has any names of people that they can recommend then that would be much appreciated.
Thank you!

Maybe you can share why you'll need hypnotherapy?

I dont think I really need to as what I would like to know is if anyone has any good recommendations or if they have tried it for themselves for whatever reasons and if it worked, very general question so general answers more than welcome!

with therapist its hard to say. you will just have to try and see if you like. one might be good for another but for a different person there is lack of chemistry and connection.
try the therapist for a couple of sessions and if you dont feel anything then try another. its important not to make an assumption that it does not work if you do not get anything from that therapist.
I have taken some EFT classes and it seems to work and with my experience with a hypnotherapist and EFT combined has been great.
Hypnotherapy programs are usually only several months long so its good to find someone who has a masters in psychology at a Uni and on top of that hypo certificate. Its not always the case but its easier to choose someone with a deeper education background

I can recommend Jennifer Norris of I think the company name was Grey Matter here in Singapore - I'm pretty sure she is still in town. I know I've posted about her before once she helped me out with my golf game and quitting smoking. Search some of the old posts for her contact info.
Cheers
