My friend is dying to try the Singapore take on carbonara. I'd be up for this week, or Sunday?

Just checked. "littleschnookums", who suggested the time and place, won't make this Sunday. I suggest we stick with next Wednesday, and you can propose sth else for this Sunday. How does that sound?

BTW, thanks, Dounut, for suggesting "the French Stall" last night. That was quite nice and unique experience.

I know you have a lot of great dinner ideas. Please keep them coming here.

It was good. simple, relaxing, descent food. Dessert "mutates" a little too much, though. Overall, it is definitely a good place to kick back, enjoy the food and chat. Worth visiting again

So far, one dinner planned by "Littleshnookums" next Wednesday night. Dounut is talking about one Russian place. don't know when yet. maybe next week?

When do you plan to go again? sometime next week?

Err. I prefer to do it on Friday nite, as nearby places open till dawn, and for those who wants to carry on can do so without rushing off, just to report to work the next morning.

But I can't promiss for the next 2 Fridays, as I forsee that I will be busy. What about the first Friday, 06 March 09?

Absolutely. So far we have the following:

La Strada (Feb 18, 8:30pm, proposed by littleschnookums)
Russian place (March 6, 8:30pm, proposed by Dounut)
Some Nepalese restaurant (Time TBD, proposed by chelsea0816)
Lei Garden for Dim Sum (Time TBD, proposed by Lifetraveler)
The Humble House (Time TBD, proposed by Lifetraveler)
Your Woul, the Korean food (Time TBD, proposed by Tulip)

Thanks for proposing all these wonderful Dinner idea (well, I add one dim sum there, not just dinner anymore....)

I believe Dounut will have a lot more good ideas to make this list much longer.

Wow, Dinner buddies, it looks like we have some serious work to do now. :-)

I knew of few cheap & good places for food, but might be sold out by time we meet for dinner, cos these places usually start from lunch ! !

2 places within the city are:

1 - Herbal Duck Soup <$5 ! ! :o

2 - Herbal Mutton Soup (Hot Item) + Chicken Rice + Other Dishes :P
