ideas for first birthday party

Post by treetops » Sat, 10 Jan 2009 12:01 am

our boy is turning one soon and we want to throw him a party. i've been to a couple where parties are held in function rooms at condos, but as we don't have access to one, can anyone suggest any other ideas?

we're thinking of going to a restaurant.. any recommendations?

thanks for your help! :D

From past experience, one year old parties are best to be a bit more low key, if there's lots of noise and commotion etc they will end up balling their yes out through out the whole thing.

End of the day, the final product you should have from the party is:

A few nice pictures with important people of the baby's life, taken with the baby and the birthday cake with a single candle.

Perhaps, a few close friends or relatives at your place? Baby can really crawl and everything would be familiar.
