Gym rooms in Condo's

Post by jfd » Sun, 28 Dec 2008 9:32 am

I see that most condo's have gym rooms. Wanting to get a feel from the people here on a few things:

1. How crowded do these rooms tend to be?

2. Generally what are the hours of operation, or all 24 hr?

3. How well equipped are they?

Thanks!

1. Typically not very crowded...maybe 2-3 other people in it max.

2. Most that I know of close at 10-11 and open at 6-7.

3. Varies from condo to condo. Treadmill, Barbells, Stationary Bicycles and several other pieces of weight lifting equipment are standard though.

Our Gym sometimes becames a "family centre". The helper and the kids all come along to see the tenant or owner work out. Thats our bug bear.

thanks for the info jon0lim.

I hope I don't experience the same thing as you Zeenit, but unfortunately could imagine that not being all that rare.

There should be an age limit into the gyms, it's no place for children, and in fact it's dangerous for adults with no experience. So complain!

We keep telling the management office that its dangerous.......they just said if the kids get hurt its the parents fault. They got a sign say no kids under 12 to use the gym equipment.........but most people are affluent locals and the whole family including grandparents come as see how their son and grand kids are enjoying condo life.
