With 5 years experience in HR, is S$ 6600 per mth a fair pay?
Graduated with an Australian degree. Started out with only S$ 1800 per mth late 1999.

HR is a clerical position.. No one would pay you big bucks.. If they are paying 6600... That's too much I believe.

My wife got her HR degree seven years ago. She's just taken a job in Singapore. Shes getting paid S$6000/month housing alllowance.!!..I won;t even go into the rest of the package.....Don;t sell yourself short. Your worth more than that...

Sounds like you got lucky as that is a decent wage here in Singapore. You are worth only what the market decides and that is pretty good I think. As for the housing allowance post, good luck but it doesnt happen often and I think the days of the expat package windfall are mostly over.

Its easy to say dont do it as I get this much etc but in reality you may not get a better offer here ....ever!!
