OP - yes please see PakJohns kind post about the other thread here.
Seeing this is up again, a few little ones that maybe some haven't heard of but are either upcoming or available now (on StarHub - who I hate today)
1. Underbelly - Australian 12 part series premiering last year in Oz amidst much controversy. Covers the Melbourne gangland wars of the late 80's to 90's. You don't need to understand much about it - it's very entertaining and quite accurate. The DVD series not available here, but I watched it when back in Oz recently, is uncut - and quite splendid.
2. Bionic Woman - the new series starts "soon" - typical StarHub lie their bums off about the start date of this.
3. Spooks S4 is now playing on BBC Entertainment. Not sure of S5 and S6 start dates for StarHub. Spooks revolves around British MI5 "intelligence". Excellent cast, and thoughtful storyline.
4. Continuing on from the theme of Spooks, also on BBC Entertainment, is The State Within - tracking the UK's Embassaodr delegate to Washington. Quirky, moving series. Currently mid-way through S1.
5. Intelligence - perhaps one of Canada's best series for years (for those of you who liked Booker!). It again is a "spy" theme - tracking a very interesting storyline of CSIS and the necessary games they need to play. Currently toward the end of S2.
Hope this is of some help. Mr. P
