For all those people that are taking statins for lowering cholesterol, and drinking vinegars, you will probably need to reduce the statin by half, but first consult with your general practioner and have regular blood tests for control.
I was placed on statins even though i had low LDL cholesterol, most heart specialists are not aware of the drinking vinegars ability to reduce cholesterol, they are also unaware of the effects on other blood lipids so it is wise to inform them if you drink vinegars.
I was informed in Taiwan, that my LDL cholesterol has dropped to 0.45 which is not good, from my previous test in UK of 1.45 in 2 months, the recommended limit is 0.75, so half the statin dosage and eat more cholesterol if need be. Vinegars reduce other blood lipids too, not just cholesterol, so be cautious if on medication while drinking vinegars.
