Looking for Graduation Thesis (Internship)

We are a fourth-year student at the Avans University in 's-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. While working towards our bachelor's degree in International Business and Languages we have to complete a 20-week placement to write our final Thesis. This placement has to be conducted by 2 students. The subject will be determined together with the host company. The internship should take place in the period of February untill June 2009.

We would like to do our final graduation thesis in Singapore and through this forum we hope someone could help us to find a company.

you might contact SMU (Singapore Management University), I have been on an exchange program there and they seem to have a very developed network with companies.

They may help students looking for a company to make a thesis.

This is an excellent idea, however it would be better for the School to contact SMU here...and arrange some kind of regular exchange for students. Here in Singapore, the Companies pay to hire the students for their project, the company gets a substantial discount up to 90% i believe in Singapore...

It is well worth a company sponsoring this kind of project, if it's not too costly, and the person or team are really switched on, I suspect you may be doing an export appraisal of the Company and the products, maybe to target a European Country, desk research if it's a 4 month stint.

It's a very good experience, I did mine on Shrink wrapping machines, back in 89 in Denmark, good luck with it! PS: Hopefully some one with a business may take you up on it.

In fact, I may look into it myself if the 90% discount is still available, I would rather have Europeans, that understand the researching technique and data bases in Europe, are you possibly on European grants for the internship period overseas?
