hi i saw your post and i would like to ask where did you find the kimono that you bought and how much is it? i need it on wednesday for some school activities.. i hope you could help me.. thanks :)

Get off the MRT at China Town and diagonally across the road from China Point shopping mall is a large store 5 floors on the corner. You will get a better quality there, the tourist areas are pretty cheap, you get what you pay for, the cheaper one's do not last long. Two or 3 times of wear before they fall to bits.

My daughters lasted little more than one Chinese New year festival. though for 18$ in the tourist area, you cannot expect more. I would be looking at 100 to 150$ plus for a good quality one, some can be very expensive 300, 500$ Never buy in the tourist shopss, over priced especially for tourists and lacking quality material!
