Day Care Info required

Post by deshnilesh » Wed, 10 Dec 2008 2:19 pm

Hi,

I have a friend and his wife coming to Singapore from India for some business and pleasure trip. He is also accompanied with his kids (4yrs and 10 Yrs); since both husband and wife would be attending a business seminar they are looking for some Day Care / Baby Sitting arrangement in
Singapore for 2 - 3 days which can take care of there kids when they
are busy with the seminar.

Please let me know if there is any such facility available. Any pointers would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Nilesh

I expect others will have better advice but you could start with contacting one of the cleaning companies who also do baby sitting. I think Amahs on Wheels does:

www.amahsonwheels.com

There's also a place called Mother and Child at Tanglin Mall who have a couple of staff members who do baby sitting as well.

There's Birth & Beyond at Tanglin Mall. The babysitter can either come to their place or the kids can be kept at the centre. I've tried them lots of times and let the babysitter come to my place. You can google for their website.

Other agencies may require you to pay them a registration fee. Not worth it if you just need the babysitter as a one time off thing.

I've just taken a look your recommendation Blue Saphire which looks good and I think I'll try this out too. FYI OP it's at Tanglin Shopping Centre not the Mall

Thanks for the correction! Thats two places many people get confused with and even the taxi drivers will ask you several times if you have the right name for the place hehe.

I tried several babysitters from this place until I have my favorite. Now I contact her directly (shhh!)
