French-English Exchange - Wednesday 3 June

Post by AGIS » Wed, 27 May 2009 2:02 pm

After some success last week, wanted to propose another French-English Exchange date for Wednesday, 3 June from 7-9 PM. Location is the Starbucks at the top of the escalator leading from City Hall MRT to Raffles. As said in previous posts, this is meant just to be an informal and fun exchange for people who want to practice their French or francophone wanting to improve their English. If you are interested, please send me an e-mail at [email protected]

hi hmm i have a last song syndrome..to Say goodbye by lorie and billy crawford.

can anyone translate these lyrics for me? i dont understand them but i like the music.some parts are in French..

Translation of beautiful French song

Post by marie cruickshank » Sun, 14 Mar 2010 12:24 am

Hi - in reply to the request for a translation of the French song - here it is, all the way from Scotland! I hope this is ok for you

The 1st time that my eyes rested on you, I felt an shiver/tremble with excitement

In looking into your eyes I saw a clear blue sky

This way of entering into my heart made me quiver with happiness

( I will wait for you wherever you are)

I want the nights where I dreamt about you
The only vision I have of you -
Is that you will always to be there
