Any french?

Post by Renewed » Sun, 07 Dec 2008 8:17 pm

Hello people,

In the following few weeks, I would like to learn some basic French. French, who are interested to learn English, are welcome. I assure you that we will have some fun conversing On the other hand, nationals of other country who think they could help and have objectives to learn English are also welcome.

You might also want to suggest some pointers/places to learn basic French in an effective way.

Thanks.

There is already a french-english exchange that goes on every thursdays from 7pm to 9pm at the starbucks near City Hall MRT.

I've been down with a bad flu so I haven't been able to go, there's a thread in the Events, Gathering, and Making Friends part of the forum.

It just started last week.
I heart bunnies!

Hi there.

I am also interested in learning French as I am planning to move to France to live a couple of years. Is this French teaching still ongoing?

Bonjour, I can see many people who have interest to learn french
I'm not a teacher but I always help people to learn my native language.
It should be fun to organize a meet up somewhere.

Just let me know if you are interested and by the way it will help my friend Pierre

French learning

Hi there,

I am a French native. Not a teacher but rather good at french speaking though...

For the ones looking for professionnal courses, you may approache the Alliance Francaise de Singapour. The are classes for all levels.

When do you intend to meet to exchange French, English, Mandarin lessons ;-)

French-English Exchange - Wednesday 20 March

Post by AGIS » Thu, 14 May 2009 8:54 pm

After a break of a few months, I wanted to try to organize a French-English Exchange again. Idea is an informal exchange of French (for those wanting to improve their French) and English (for the francophone wanting to improve their English or share their French). I suggest meeting this coming Wednesday the 20th from 7-9PM. Location TBD, but certainly somewhere in the CBD. If you are interested and can make this date, send me an e-mail at agis464@gmail.com and I'll keep you posted on the details. If you are interested but can't make this date, still let me know and I can inform you of future gatherings. This is not meant to be formal French/English classes, just a fun way to meet people and work a bit on language skills. A bientot!

Patrick
