hi hi...

apologies again for the fickle posts... been in and out; here and there...

the night festival 2009 at the national museum of singapore this friday seems tailor fit to our older & wiser crowd!

thus, let us say we meet this 10 july at the kopi tiam across smu at 7PM, grab a quick meal, then walk to nms around 730PM. for easier coordination, please pm me for my number should you not have it yet...

best regards and see you soon :)

the blurb from the nms website reads:

The most talked-about event of the year is finally back! Night Festival 2009 is set to dazzle over a weekend on 10 and 11 July. Festival goers can indulge in an outdoor extravaganza of theatrical performances with live music and dance, and experience delightful interactive light installations created in and around the Bras Basah precinct. The street level buzz will start by 7.30pm stretching to the wee hours of the morning at 2am. Singapore acts will take centre-stage this year - Bersama Hijau, the spectacular opening show of dance, percussion and vocals by 80 talented performers, all ready to delight and enchant. The Festival will culminate in a fantastic pyrotechnics show by Action Theatre PAN.OPTIKUM from Germany.

Growing old or growing up?!

Post by vespa1717 » Thu, 23 Jul 2009 2:14 am

How an interesting topic in talking about Older and Wiser.
Actually, almost of us are growing old and aren't growing up... cause growing old is inevitable but growing up is optional.
So, are you guys growing old or growing up?
If as older as wiser we are, we can confident in our growing.
Any event else for such a new comer? ;)
Cheers

hi jp and vespa,

thanks for your interest in our group... vespa, such profound questions! sadly, i don't think i have the pleasure of ponderance nowadays... will get back to you ;)

i have been on the road in the last couple of months, and there'll be three more weeks of this itinerant program... but once my schedule becomes stable again, i promise to organize more regularly. but here's what i have in mind so far:

16 august--beautiful sunday performance at the esplanade, 3pm (the show is entitled "postcards from singapore")

22 august--picnic at the marina barge

i will post details once the dates are nearer... in the meantime, please feel free to organize other activities in this thread :)

and, one more, thanks to everyone who joined us at the night festival 2009. sorry that we veered into different groups but it is difficult for 15 people to move as one group with such diverse activities amid such big crowds!

Yep, nice to hear from you and i will absolutely waiting for your information to respond as well :)
Actually, I've been working in professional Marketing and Communication for 3 years and just quit my job for MBA course here. Therefore, I will be pleased if there is anything that i can help for your organizing regarding those events.
Let me know when you need other support.
Cheers
