No need to change VISA as think she just has to meet the length of stay in Singapore criteria. Lost of mixed religion couples from around the region get married in Singapore and they come in on tourist visa's.

If her SVP is an LTSVP based on Common Marraige (Defacto) you may have a problem. Best to check what sort of SVP she has and how she got it.

Best check their website and confirm.

If she is here as a spouse on LTSVP you are going to have trouble.

Call ROM and find out, you don't have to give them details to get intel.

I am confused.

If she is on LTSVP under your name no problem, if under your friend you have a problem and will need to terminate that ASAP (as logic would dictate that ROM will not approve you marrying someone who is already in a Common Law relationship).

Never mind they say don't guarantee, if she has no police record and her health is OK they will accept the ROM marriage certificate and treat her as the spouse of any other EP holder.

Main question is why do you want to marry her? If you want to be with her then go and make the commitment anyway possible. Red tape is for cutting so just get started and everything will fall into place as all obstacles will come into focus and be able to be surmounted.

If you want to marry her to give her a Visa for Singapore please go away.
