Hi
I am sorry if this question has been asked before. I tried to make a search but was not sucessful.
I am planning to send my phillipino helper back home for a vacation to coincide with when we will be taking a vacation in end of dec. I understand that I will need to do some paperwork in order for her to be able to enter singapore after her vacations. My agent had asked for $450 to do this. I contacted an other agent who has asked for $250. I would like to do this myself if it is posible. Can anyone who has done this before guide me.
Thanks
mink

ok I got the answer from the embassy...
It seems that the employers can no longer do the paperwork themselves... We have to contact the agents accredited by the embassy and I just found out that my agent is not accredited. There is a list of accredited agents on the embassy website.
I called 3 agents in the list and $250 is the lowest price that was quoted.
Just thought that this info might help someone in the same situation.

mink12 - we just sent our helper home for the holidays. she handled all the paperwork with the agent directly ($250). we needed to sign some of the pages and provide information for the bond as well as a copy of her insurance & contract. it was all very easy. the home leave your helper is granted is valid for 2 years from the time it's approved - so if you send her home again within 2 years you won't have to pay again.
