Part time Nanny/Baby Sitter/Help

Post by sillingw » Tue, 02 Dec 2008 11:29 am

We have two kids, one is at full time school, the other is just one year old. We have a great maid, who really gets on well with the kids, however, I think it's too much to ask her to look after the baby and look after the house. My wife is full time at work, but can work from home most of the time. We are looking for someone to come around 2-3 times per week and help out with playing with/stimulating our one year old - this would be the sole responsibility, maybe 3-4 hours a time - does anyone know of such a service or person?

We lived in a Serviced Apartment for three months and were recommended a part-time babysitter by the apartment management. She has now been babysitting my 1 year-old and at times my 4 year-old as well for 6 months and is absolutely wonderful especially with our 1 year-old. We have found a good maid but still ask the babysitter to come in 2-3 hours each day so that its not too tough on the maid. If you like, I can send her contact information (she's available after 1pm).

Mondia...I am looking for a part time maid to come do cleaning 2 times a week for 3-4 hours each time, so it's around 6-8hours per week. Can you send me your helper's contact?

Thanks.
