A silly question, but I wonder if there's any support group for ant phobia. I am turning crazy battling ants everyday. The dark wood flooring isn't helping, I can't see them at all until it's too late. Going into depression.

Can't tell if you're being serious LOL! On the off chance that you are, I doubt it... this is a pretty odd phobia, but you never know maybe there's something online.

Of course I am being serious. I didn't even laughed about it in my post. I really can't find any support group online.

I started one on another forum but no good replies, either sarcasm or can't find similar help.

Honestly, have you considered therapy? There are a number of therapists who work with those who have odd phobias, that might help you if you are truly so troubled by the ants.
I think a big part of your issue in being unable to get a useful response from others is because half of them think you're joking, and the other half cannot relate to having such a fear.

Yes, I agree to no one can relate at all. If you know of any therapist, do recommend here. Thanks.

There are quite a number in Novena Medical Centre that are great. Not sure who's taking patients right now, you'll have to call and ask.

BTW, I saw the first couple of ants since I put out the Terro Ant Bait a couple of months ago, so I put new one out a few days ago. Only saw ants the day after I put it out, but none since. I am telling you… the stuff works.

Sadly, it doesn't work for mine. I tried terro, golden hammer, combat, only work first time but no further.

Maybe it’s time for some Borax. Google it.

There’s a local company called
Antbreaker that uses borax. Gotta keep re-applying for about 5 days continuously before they go away. It’s a little sticky though but can be wiped away by alcohol wipe or a wet wipe.
Didn’t see ants for a few months before they came back again (in smaller numbers) so I’m adding Antbreaker once more.
Another habit I practice is that I do not discard any sweet/food wrappers or drink cans/cartons into any rubbish bins at home. That will definitely attract ants.
I have another smaller bin that I put at my kitchen sink meant for food trash that I empty out every night and wash weekly.

guys.
talc/baby powder. my preferred method to keep them out.
or golden rooster ant bait when all else fails (depending on how big the colony is and/or how your place is like - might only work for a while).

Sounds awesome. I haven't had much of an issue either, when I see any, I just bust out the trusty lint roller.
