Hi,

I recently lost my job and took up another with a huge paycut. Thus after much consideration, I had decided to release my maid early to cut back on expenses.

My maid has been with me for nearly 1 year and had previous experience in hong kong and taiwan. She is an honest and hardworking woman who is able to good at cooking and looking after children. My gals loved her dearly and we would be sad to see her go.

I felt really bad about it but had no choice. So the only thing I could do now is to help her find another employer... Let me know if you're interested... I can send you the biodata (My email: [email protected])

Thank you...
Lucy

I need a transfer maid too!

Post by smayrhofer » Fri, 05 Dec 2008 5:33 pm

Hi All,

I am expecting my first baby in April and we want to get a maid to help out while I am on maternity leave and to later take care of the baby during the day while I'm at work.

I will approach agencies eventually as the time draws near, but I would much prefer a transfer maid with good references rather than a random one from an agency.

If anyone has a maid that will need a new post starting in April, has experience with newborn care, and is willing to take care of a newborn as her primary responsibility, please contact me!

More than 13 years in Singapore - entrusted with my 6 yr old completely (both of us always travel) - taught him math, swimming, cycling, reading, writing and more.

Your Domestic Helper sounds fantastic!!

I just read your message and know exactly how you feel. I am moving from Australia to Singapore on the 7th February and will be leaving behind our nanny/housekeeper of 4 years. She has basically brought up my two children (4 and 18 months old) and is a loved and trusted member of the family.

Like you my husband and I will both be travelling while based in Singapore (min 3 year posting) so we are looking for an extremely reliable person who will be great with children. My daughter will attend school and I am planning to send my son to nursery school 3 hours a day to burn off his energy and give the helper a break.

I can't PM you as I am a newbie on the forum, my email is [email protected]

I'm locking this thread, since this is not really the right place to start searching for maids or arranging transfers. Please use the Maids & Helpers section of Classifieds instead:

http://classifieds.singaporeexpats.com/ ... php/cat/94

Anybody can post there for free, and there is no minimum message requirement for PM etc.
