Located in a beautiful shop house, this restaurant serves fine cuisine and good wines and is not too pricey considering the quality. Staff are friendly and the whole place has a romantic flair. It is also a popular destination fro Valentine's day, anniversaries and romantic, I love you, birthdays.
Hmm-m, my spam-o-meter is twitching. What "fine cuisine", how much does it cost and can you tell us something bad about the place?

Le Pont de Vie

No spam - just my opinion. I get fed up of seeing the same restaurants listed. If you want something bad about them they don"t open Mondays.

Other faves include

Via Mar for tapas at esplanade and 2am desert bar but obviously not for a romantic dinner since they serve sweets.

I personally like the food and service of Long Bar Steak House at Raffles Hotel.

In particular, I like its ambiance at night. It offers very good dinning experience.

It's set lunch menu offers very good value too.
