Yes, I'm going bald. What have you tried...

Post by RULDS » Wed, 26 Nov 2008 11:39 pm

I'm in my late 20's and have been thinning out for some while. My wife commented about it the other day so I am wondering...

What have you tried? Any reviews on Beijing 101 Hair loss place? I see multitudes of Eastern Medicines in the pharmacy, any recommendations?

Thanks.

(Yes, I did research past threads but did not see any viable discussions)

look for "regaine". trial and tested product. only problem is you have to use it all the time. be careful of fake stuff, so buy it from a pukka store.

Balding

Post by boicott » Thu, 27 Nov 2008 1:23 am

It really depends on your kind of of balding.

if its hereditary. theres nothing much u can do abt it.

you can use the spray (forgot the name) and apply it twice a day to minimize the loss. or alternatively you can use the oral medication (forgot the name) whc will have a higher chance of regrowing hair n stop the lost. Downside: cost abt 100/mth for medication , dun necessarily work for all tho a huge % seem to have improvement as claimed, potential rashes and erectile dysfunction.

if it is due to stress or some other factors.

the doc can give u jabs ard the scalp for hair regrowth, it helps.

hair implants if u can afford it costs 5 to 6 figures

on a personal note, you can try to wash your hair twice a day with specific shampoo for hair lost. Wash thoroughly esp if you have used hair products. eat more vegetables and less salty/sweet stuff. Hope it helps.

Thank you for the tips....

I do use Nioxin Shampoo/Treatment. It thickend the hair for the first year but the results have tapered.

The hair loss is probably hereditary but I thought I would treat to fight it somehow if there was something out there. It's not worth it to me to spend alot of money but thought I would try something just to see.

I was bald before I was 30. I've never bothered as it was hereditary on my mother's side of the family (my old man is 83 and still has a pretty full head of hair but all my uncles on mom's side was bald even when I was a wee tyke. At 61 I'm still just as bald. Course I'm not vain so that helps. I figure at least this way, they like me for me and not my looks which I find rather shallow. (Oh, I've been married three times an only had hair the first time (but thinning then with the high forehead and receding temples even then. Save yourself a lot of aggravation, rogaine and all the others only will say that you will have some hair growth. Not that it will all flourish or cover all that has gone. And like was said earlier, once you quit it will all go away again.

Instead of worrying about the hair, worry about your performance. That will overcome any hair deficit! :P Remember, just tell 'em you lost your hair on the headboard!

NB: Kiwi paste wax works a treat to keep it nice & glossy (the scalp that is!)

Being a damned good looking shaved bald guy I recommend you check out this website and accept you for you.

www.headblade.com

I always tell people that in line with everything going environmentally friendly and green I'm doing my part everytime I shave my head by increasing the size of my solar panel for my sex machine!

Then go for for a Boyzilian wax, so both ends are super smooth, stick some of SMS super slick kiwi paste top and bottom and you will slide like Torvil and Dean on your black satin sheets

I say God made a few perfect heads and the rest he put hair on...

Totally agree with SMS but would add suggestion that you improve the things in your life that you have real control over. Lets face it, if genetic baldness was curable Hollywood wouldn't have so many toupes.

My son who is 36 is also losing his hair :???: (I often wondered why he shaved it off all the time :) Until I said to him crikey your going bald  and i never noticed before. He's already accepted the fact, and shaves it off, saves on haircuts too!

No cure I'm afraid! Not even vinegar  if it is hereditary!
