I don't suggest mugs and photo frames cos they are too common!! I used to get lots of them and they are still sitting in the cupboard. See if my following suggestions help:

Ladies: Tote bags, toiletries gift sets, cute office stationery, pendants, bracelets

Guys: namecard holders, toiletries gift sets, T-shirts

Gifts should be interesting, fun yet practical... I do enjoy christmas shopping although it takes a bit of thinking to do. Try to find out what the person like or get things for his/her fav activities. There are so many interesting things in the market nowadays!!
Hope my ideas help...happy shopping!!
:P

Oh yes! That's definitely a great present! Now you are giving me ideas for xmas shopping. I did see them around, those that are foldable and cloth-like material shopping bags rite? The prints are very pretty. Maybe the problem now is which one to choose....hehe....

Homemade cookies in a nice decorative box...

Or if it's Secret Santa or Pollyanna, calenders, at-a-week organizers or inexpensive pen/pencil sets.
