Independent Acco for a Guy

Hello everyone,

I am in the process of moving to Singapore and am interested in finding out about independent accomodation for a single guy.

Are there Studio/1BR HDB apartments available for rent ? If yes, how common are these and how is the space/amenities etc? Also what is the rent generally? I am specifically looking near the Tampines area.

Any thoughts/experiences/pointers will be very helpful.
