Which is better - East coast or West coast

Well, we live out west and my son goes to Canadian International School, also out west, I work west of center so it works for us, As for facilities, we have enough for our family and are pretty happy here.

Choose the school first!

There are good places to live in both East and West sides of Singapore.
It's more important to figure out where you will spend the most of your family's time and choose based on that. For me, it was considering the location of my kids' school, my office and my church. I picked a place right in the middle of all three as we drive a car to these places very frequently. Going to other places like shopping malls and etc., isn't too difficult. If you don't drive, then, considering transportation means and routes will have to be one of your primary concerns. Bus routes, nearby MRT stations, ease of getting taxis,... you get the picture.

I recommend ICS for your kids. It's a very nice school and not as expensive as some other International Schools. My two kids attend the school and they love it. It's located on Clementi 2 exit from AYE. If you choose that school, choosing West side, not necessarily West Coast, will be recommended. There are many condominiums to choose from near Upper Bukit Timah area as well.
