How to get a work permit?

Post by cerid01 » Mon, 24 Nov 2008 2:29 am

Hi everyone, hoping someone can help me.

Im 16 years old, 17 begining of january, not singaporean. Im moving back to my home country in july.
I have left school. I keep hearing my parents talking about me and how I have become a bit more lazy when im in the house.
I volunteer and SPCA but would love to get a job some where to earn some money and get out of the house more.

I understand you need a work permit to work in singapore, even though il be leaving singapore in about 8 months can I get a work permit?
If I can where can I get one.

Also does anyone know any good websites that explains more about the laws of working in singapore and more about work permits.

Thank you for reading, hope someone can help me!

Everything you want to know is either here or on the various links to other pages. It's called the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
