Xmas Day Dinner - anyone recommend a hotel?

Postby welshkiwi » Sun, 23 Nov 2008 6:17 pm

We (NZ couple in early 40s without kids) are not going home for Xmas this year.

We're planning on an Xmas Day dinner with all the trimmings at a local venue so we don't have to cook. Can anyone recommend a good hotel / restaurant please?

Thanks in advance

All the big hotels will provide a lovely Christmas lunch or dinner with all the trimmings. You can have it with alcohol or without. They will all be a bit pricey, call around to some of them for quotes for an idea. I've been to the Marriott twice and can't fault them. The Hyatt is also good, but I personally found it 'dark' inside the Hyatt, not much natural lighting.
