Advice Needed

Post by ashmika » Sat, 22 Nov 2008 3:51 pm

Hi,

I have a Bachelor degree in Homoeopathy from India. I am On DP .

Can I try to work from home ? I read that for an alternative therapy clinic, I need to get it registered as a buisness. If I just give it a try from home as a part time, do I still need to get it first registered ? If I need to get it registere, then Do I need the address of my clinic ( buisness ).

Any other suggestion for homoeopathy is also most wellcome.

Thanks in advance.

No, you have to register a company and to do that I believe you would need to submit a business plan via the Entrepass scheme as you cannot register a business on a Dependent's Pass.

Thanks for a quick reply. Is it mean I can't do anything ? Is there any way out ?

Thanks once again

Aside from the limitations posted above, your only other alternative is to find a clinic/spa/whatever you all operate from, and to see if they will hire you. If they can offer you a position, they could file for the "Letter of Consent" which would allow you to work without regard to the EP requirements. Alternatively they may want to hire you on your own Employment Pass. Short of either of those two things you are out of luck.
