recommend a good piano teacher, for adults?

Post by obverse » Thu, 20 Nov 2008 9:17 pm

Hi - I am looking for a good piano teacher for myself (adult). Not a complete beginner, but I need plenty of basic lessons too.
The piano teachers I've met to date have been depressingly formulaic, and unable to really go beyond what is says in the syllabus. I want to learn from someone that really loves to play and listen to the piano. My main interest is in classical; if I could play Bach's invention No8 in a year, I'd be happy.

If you can recommend anyone please PM me!

Thanks!
