My friend (a normal local singaporean) said that expats in singapore are generally rich. Anyone disagree or agree? Just wanna hear your thoughts! feel free to post and comment!

Everyone in Singapore (expats & locals) are generally speaking 'rich' compared to the rest of the world and the poverty thereof.
Otherwise, your question is a bit offensive and quite random. Who cares who is rich? Live your life, do your best and be happy with what you have.

Duh of course not all expats are rich, what about those working as marine time engineerers? My friend is one them and he complains about his shitty salaries all the freaking time.

That was my point. The OP said "expats were generally rich". I think there are many foreign nationals (expatriates) in Singapore who are not rich at all.
There are Singaporeans who are rich and those who are not. Same with expats.

yea ive heard about that before...that expats r generally rich...well i dont know if theres a solid definition but i dont think they necessarily have to be rich cuz my family used to be expatriates in china
