EMIRATES Recruitment January 2009
there were loads of gurls that were selected and only a hand full of us guys that made it true. I could still remember the moment, and as a guy i was happy as only 8 guys were in a room full of them preety gurls
Hahaha, im just kidding around alright, no hard feelings. Well i guess the fun part is over, and the tough once is next week. I think this is one tough interview. Anyways! Did u get true sushmita?

I investigate things to complete my knowledge, my knowledge makes my thoughts sincere, therefore my heart is pure.
Medical Checks
I was wondering if Singaporegurrl or Queenie-me, or anyone who is with EK in DXB already, can help?
When you get to DXB and go for the medical check, do they strip you naked to specifically search for tattoos?
If they dont, then in what circumstances will they see your tattoo? (maybe during X-ray time or while doing ECG etc)
Can someone pls help? I am really nervous about the medicals.. :S
Thanks in advance!!

yea dun lose hope! i'll prob go for d next opening too, cos by then i'll be 21 alr.. or would you like to try qatar this 17th wif me??planejane wrote:fii0nn.. I didn't as well. Unfortunately, I could not pass the reach test!![]()
I tried practising it at home but I guess I probably marked it wrongly![]()
In fact, I wasn't considered as one of the applicants cause my resume and photos were not yet being submitted. One of the recruiters suggested that I try yoga exercises cus it helps, and come back for the next one (and I did some research online, yoga does help in slight height increasement if your body is still growing! it also helps in flexibility which makes you able to stretch further) I'll try his suggestion and might go for the next open day!
Meanwhile, good luck to those girls who have passed this and make it to the assessment day!

Re: Medical Checks
will they mind even if the tattoos r within uniform??jzmn59 wrote:I was wondering if Singaporegurrl or Queenie-me, or anyone who is with EK in DXB already, can help?

from what i know, tattoos that cannot be seen while in uniform IS NOT an issue. trouble is, mine is kinda borderline.... it's a little tricky so i am really curious about the medicals procedure.
Coz ive heard about people being sent home after the medicals in DXB, because their tattoos were showing. :S

Re: Medical Checks
Strip? No such thing! It's not a prison honey. I've flown with many crew who are with tattoos. So long as the uniform covers them, it's fine.jzmn59 wrote:I was wondering if Singaporegurrl or Queenie-me, or anyone who is with EK in DXB already, can help?

EK Recruitment on Hiatus
Seems like the current financial climate has affected EK... they have recently "stopped" their recruitment exercise. If you log on to their website, you'll see that all Open and Assessment Day dates have been taken off/postponed indefinitely.
