PMP Certification

Post by BlurGirl » Thu, 09 Jul 2009 2:01 pm

I'm working in project management now so I do meet the working experience requirement. I'm just thinking what to do after getting PMP as I need to plan for my career. Getting a degree will definitely get me a better job n salary. Right now, I'm considered a lowly paid worker when I compared with my peers, oh Man!....Sigh! :( I'm sure you will be shocked too if you know my current salary.. :-|

So back to my question: which degree complement well with PMP certification?

Hi

I passed my pmp and it was tough. For those who are looking to clock in the 35 contact hours plus a PMP prep training course i suggest you check this webpage where training is top and probably the cheapest in singap kp-itc dot com

@All

please note that for 2009, SG gov. is offering an 80% refund on course;
this to help people get better qualifications and job opportunities.
unfortunately this applies only on PR and citizens.

btw my understanding is that u can ask for tax rebate up to 3.5k SGD
if u take a professional course that's related or not to ur current job;
this applies to tax resident (more than 183 days worked in SG) regardless
they're local or foreigner [that's my case:)]
details here> http://www.iras.gov.sg/irasHome/page04.aspx?id=2738

I was also considering the PMP cert. but still don't have the 3.5k hours of proven experience in management...

My exam date is on 30th of August and I am looking for a study group.

Anybody interested. Would be great to share some understanding and learn from each other.

Good enough in teaching, material, facility, etc but beware of partial lack of professional ethics and conduct.
