I have Singapore PR and am still single, so would it be possible to have my direct family like sibling or parent to be treated in a hospital here with part of the medical fee e.g. operation covered by my Medisave insurance in my CPF? Mine is handled by Great Eastern.

The answer is NO, it is not possible for you to use your medisave-funded insurance to cover your family member's hospital expenses.

That insurance you bought - it covers you solely.

However, you can use your medisave funds to pay for your family member's hospital bill.

You should call your Great Eastern insurance agent & clarify further.
