Errrmmm...kind sorta maybe.....depends on your situation.
According to our tax accountants, there are elements which can be claimed assuming you have a portion of your salary paid back in AUS. Much of it actually comes down to the ATO's residency test. Note, residency from the ATO's perspective is your TAX residence status - the ATO website has a lot of info which while initially confusing, is worthwhile knowing.
I appreciate it's an honest question, but short of giving you our advice, I'd suggest you ask your accountants to work it out for you. That being said, in short, yes there are elements which can be claimed.
