Captn Pugwash Stuff

Post by g00se » Mon, 03 Nov 2008 4:14 pm

Hiya guys !
My first time on here, so hellooooo to you all.

I'm in the process of possibly moving to Sing and was wondering if any of you bright sparks had knowledge of boats and how it all works there ?

I have a zodiac inflatable rib and I'm thinking of bringing it, if I relocate. However, I have no idea what the waters are like [will it be like HK ? or would boating traffic be ok for a 6.5m rib ?], what licensing I will require, mooring costs, berth availability, etc.

Can anyone help me ?

Or can you point me in the right direction ?

Thanks, in anticipation.

Hey dude..

Didn't see a reply, but if ya still need the information..

Zodiac's are easily moored here.. dependent on size and how much you want to spend.. although to use you will need a PPCDL license which will probably set you back around $250 (SGD).

Traffic wise it's not too bad but you'll need to know your charts as there is alot of restricted areas, especially with indonesia and malaysia so close.

If ya need any more help just mail me back directly.

Dray
