wifi enabled where to get it done

Post by fulabula » Sun, 02 Nov 2008 8:42 pm

I have a 10 year old toshiba laptop which works well but it works off ME software..does anyone know where I can take it to get it wifi enabled and whatever it needs to be wifi ready.I took it to challenger at united square but they did not have the needed equipment..told me to go to sim lim sq or funan centre ..it is like throwing someone into a lions den going there so if someone can point me in the right direction that would be helpful...

what you need is a wireless PC Card (aka PCMCIA) that has the device drivers for windows ME. you can also look for USB wireless dongle but be careful as some need your laptop to have USB 2.0 to work.
