anyway, i'm the malay dude with the big backpack in that group...
made it thru final int, juz got green light to go for medical but muz submit to them by tmr... they say i'm TENTATIVELY booked to fly to doha on 15th jan pending medical clearance... what does this mean? anyone? help me out?

Anyway folks, I need advices and opinions....

Though I made it thru the final QR int, I still have to clear my medical rite?

The thing is, I made it through the final round of interviews at SQ too. All within last sunday itself (thank you god!)... went for my med already and will attend the briefing later today... i know some of you will tink i'm super "kiasu" but i tink most of u would understand my position of applying for different airlines at the same time... i'm quite surprised with the outcome as both times were my first time applying to either of them... heck, u should have seen me applying for emirates thingy earlier this month, my first time ever applying to become a cabin crew... dressed in torn n tattered jeans and a scruffy shirt (tucked-out). i was obviously rejected straight away.... n to add to my embarrassment, i learned it was primarily for female candidates... hahaha... k, back to the main point...

Lets juz say if my med is cleared for both, which should i choose? QR or SQ?
My family says SQ, my frenz say QR...
I really really want to be in SQ but the thought of living abroad and working for QR is too awesome to be ignored... (i don't mind curfews and strict regulations...)

I got a decision to make soon and i hope u guys can help... Thanks!!

1) briefing on what to expect that day....
2) english test... mcq qns n a short essay...

4) 1st round of group discussions, then 1st elimination
5) 2nd round of group discussions, then 2nd elimination

Any feedbacks with the Qatar open day in KL

Post by mikouno30 » Mon, 08 Dec 2008 8:19 pm

Hi everyone, I went to the open day for Qatar in KL. Unfortunately, i wasnt called for the 2nd round, it doesnt deter me though, i will just try and try until i succeed. hehe.

Anyhow, the recruitment officer, a girl from JB, who used to be a Police officer in Singapore was a bit rude during the general Q and A... she would answer questions posted to them in a very sarcastic manner....

Im just checking how it went for the 2nd and third round which was yesterday and today... anyone out there who is lucky enough to pull thru?

It just so tricky to be oull thru the second round, coz, while handing out the CV, you make a small talk and just smile and hope for the best...

But then i guess, luck also plays an important role...
