Hi all,
I've been reading these forums for months prior to my move to Singapore,
in particular advice from sms. I haven't posted very often as I typically just
use the search function.
I originally planned to enter Singapore on an EPEC pass. However, I secured
employment prior to my move and I now have a P1 Employment Pass. I
plan to apply for PR in 6 months which I believe is the minimum I must wait.
However, I'm also considering PEP given the current economic conditions.
The MOM website currently indicates that P1 holders should receive an
approval in principal for PEP based on the P1. Is this correct? Perhaps the
previous articles I've read, requiring 2 years on a P1 visa are outdated?
So should the fact that I'm currently on a P1 suffice or do I need to start
digging up payslips and requesting letters from previous employers in North
America to be approved for the PEP?
Thanks,
David
