Yeah, I have to say, Singaporeans are shocking on the roads. Changing lanes without indicating. Talking with a mobile phone stuck next to their ear. And hesitate for a second and you get blasted with their horns.

I've noticed a trend. Selfishness and lack of consideration for others. Racing for the 'priority' seats first on an MRT while plenty of other seats are available. Barging into the train doors while others are yet to exit. Standing two abreast on escalators not letting others through. And some of them have some absolutely disgusting habits. Two of my colleagues just sit in front of their computers and belch openly without trying to muffle it or so much as a "pardon me". Makes me wonder how parents raise children around here.

I know the reason for this. Singapore Citizens is brought up in such a way that time is money, money is time. Most accidents on the roads are caused by taxi drivers. Taxi rental expensive, hence the need to speed to get more passengers.

I have my own run-ins with bad drivers. Some gave me the middle finger (even though its their fault). Some pretended nothing happened. Ahh...the comical side of Singaporeans.

Nevertheless, our transport system, the buses and trains are good. Just that you need to get used to squeezing in with the rest.

Cheers...

There are many other "Best" in Singapore and one of them is we have the "Best" drivers in SIngapore.

Tongue-in-cheek

I think you have a spelling error there. Don't you mean "beast" drivers? :P

Anyway, the term is wrong as well, Singaporeans don't actually know how to "drive", they only know how to "aim". :(

(EXCEPT WHEN THEY ARE IN THE TOILET THAT IS! ) :o

Nope...to use the word "Best" is what I have intended. That is why I used the open and closed inverted commas.

Oh dear. If you really must know, I couldn't be bothered with commenting on the toilet habits. The thread is about "Death by Singapore drivers". The original message is not even about toilets. Don't stray away from the real topic. No wonder you came here to Singapore. Straying about.
