hi all, am new to this forum. Also new to emirates recruitment. I would like to know if we need to submit any online CV to Sass atlantic first, wait for their reply for confirmation, or just go to the interview tomoro?
Very confused cos i read some got invitation email but the advertisement says 'walk-in'.

no!
u could! those invitation are only for a reminder for those who apply way back before this walk in interview had been planned.
U print out your application, bring all the documents and thats it.
for GOD's sake! it's WALK IN guys.. meaning, just come and walk in for an interview.

Just got back from the interview. Not many people apply compared to other airline recruitment. Quality of the applicants are not as high as other airlines based on appearance imo.
Female wannabes are brought into a holding room for screening. Male wannabes have to line up with their cv and photos for a "open" 1-to-1 interview by the officers from SASS Atlantic in full view of the rest. They basically will ask not more than 3 questions and if you're selected, they will call you to come back later in the late afternoon.
They are very strict regarding the passport photos and full-length photos. But they did have a "makeshift" area for taking full-length and/or passport at $18 or $36 per set with white backdrop taken by professional photographers.
Good luck to all who will be going and have fun!

hi conjurer,
how's the selection? out of 10 girls in a group, what was the passing rate?
did they reject a lot of photos? cos mine is taken with a white background but in office, the lighting not as bright as one will take at a photo studio.
thanks.

There are 15 ladies per group & will be given a short introduction of emirates & thereafter, you are given a topic to discuss. No self introduction at all. I didnt speak more than 10 words throughout the whole interview and rather competitive among some girls. Nonetheless, I left without knowing the result as I knew I wont make it, moreover a friend of mine who was in same group had my contact number. I realised then alot of the girls in my group got selected, 10 out of 15. Previously, I had 2 girls who were in different groups and there were 5 being selected though. Nonetheless, good luck to all who made it the next round

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.
