whao! the folks at BA are pretty fast! I'd thought they'd probably take a few days more to sort through the apps!

Well, congrats to those who have gotten their call! Think nerves are running for them now.. and for those who haven't like myself hehe, just be patient and hope for the best =)

I didn't get BA's call also... sobz...
Anyway i didn't pin much hopes too 'cause I only got 4 O's (But i got an A for Chinese so i thought they may "close one eye")...
Even so, good luck to all going on 01 Dec!!!

I sent on the 8th. Lol! I also got A for Chinese, maybe thats why Im alil bit upset I didnt get selected. Sobs. Well nvm, good luck okay shenoes!

i too got a missed call from them at 3pm today. called back and was allocated for 12pm on 1st dec.

Wow no wonder. I only got B3. Hmm chances are low, i think they are really looking for ppl who scored well in Chinese for their China route. Anyone who scored B3 receive call?

I got a call from them too! phew. my interview is at 4.30pm on 1 dec. they said there'll be a language proficiency test too. any idea what this is about? they are not going to test our WRITTEN chinese, are they?

can anyone share more about the BA interviews? also, will the selected candidates from this recruitment exercise fly only the China route? or other countries too? If it's only China I'm not keen anymore.

Yah, they mention there will be a passage translation thingy. So are we supposed to translate English to Mandarin and vice versa? Lol, then I think Im dead.
Hey, mushroom. I think the grades are not THAT VERY important la. It is important but I dont think they will turn away B3 too. I got B3 for my English as well. Dun give up hope ok!

gosh, i was reading through the other BA thread and I don't think I should go for the interview anymore. not only do they interview you in mandarin in stage 2, you have to READ and WRITE chinese words for them as well. I don't know how to say kilometres, miles, turbulence etc in chinese, let alone write them! and if there was an impromptu announcement during a flight i will probably stutter and translate it into a mixture of english and mandarin.
