Morning everyone , ,

My time slot is on the 2nd December at 2pm.
Anyone have is around that timing? Was wondering how is the whole procedure gonna be like. And the most amazing thing is I got a D7 for my Chinese 'O' Level. As I'm from a English speaking background. gonna start brushing up my Chinese for the next few days. And good luck to everyone who's going for the interview on the start of December!
CHEERS* :D

Yours Sincerely
Michelle (:

Hi lovely all,

just wanna wish everyone good luck! :) and dun worry too much about the chinese thingy , because ultimately i think its the attitude that they are looking for, and if there are some words that you cannot translate,(you will be given a few mins to rephrase it in chinese) just find a simpler one to replace and that you are comfortable with... just my one cent worth to share :)

CHEERS!!! Piggyback ME!

i sent my application on the 12th Nov via normal post. Have you gotten their call? I just have a feeling that they do try to call almost every applicant. (im not very eligible... )

Since they are so strict in their requirements, they will need more people in order to qualify that few creme of the crop...

im sure u will get ur call very very soon babe. update us here!!
hi!! not to worry..cos i think they are doing another set of interview in Jan also..if this time round u didnt get any calls..most prob sometime in mid or end of december?..I was told that the interview will be in dec and jan..so not to worry, u'll definitely be called up!

hello...
when they wrote "interviews will be conducted in dec/jan", my feeling is that the initial rounds probably will be done in dec only, and successful applicants be proceeded on to jan's rounds, just like how it happened for previous years as read in earlier threads. Just my thoughts. May the hopefuls get calls soon, nevertheless!

Anyway, i re-read the advertisement posted in page 1 of this thread. It clearly states "minimum 1 year customer service experience". Do those who have received calls, all satisfy this? Now i'd doubt so... let me know if i am correct or wrong? Thanks ladies!

Hi lindy

I will think that this is what they prefer, and if this batch of applicants had majority fulfilling this criteria, then probably those shortlisted will all have at least 1 yr customer experience. But if this batch of applicants consists of a majority of fresh grads, then you will get a mix.

Yeah. I agree that customer service experience is very important as I actually had a D7 for my chinese 'O' level but I have 3 years of experience in customer service. And one thing for sure is I'm gonna die during the interview next week cause my chinese is weak. -pout-

Okay, this is a little uncalled for - anyone here also loves gelare waffles + ice cream? :P 02 Dec is Tuesday, waffles day! Would anyone like to go for dessert after the interview?

If it takes approximately 1h as informed, I'd be done by 3.30pm. I don't mind waiting around the hotel for those are interested too. Reply here or PM me if keen :)

Hey ppl,

i know we would be required to be dressed in formal wear, but just wondering if u girls out there would be wearing long or short sleeved blouses? Wonder if short sleeved blouses would deem us to be a little less formal then long sleeved??
