sinitial costs of setting up a business

Post by Monkey12 » Tue, 21 Oct 2008 9:02 am

Hi
I am currently an EP who recently resigned from a senior role with a Multinational company .I have been here 3 years with my wife who is also an EP
I am sure that if I trawl for 2 hours I will find the answer in the forum and be directed to various governmental websites :? , but if I am planning to start up a business in Singapore what are the initial set up costs I can expect ?
I am talking visas, permits, licences , accounting services, legal services , company secretarial services etc , not so much marketing or advertising or hiring. Aslo if there are any hidden costs to be aware of.
Any fast facts appreciated
thanks

PS: my intention is to set up a limited liability partnership

Strong Eagle has written a posting that will probably be of help

http://www.singaporeexpats.com/forum/ftopic38927.html

Also look at the link at the bottom of any Sundaymorningstaples (SMS) posting as his listing a few companies that quote start up costs etc
