Batam Hills Golf Resort

Post by bright_wave » Sun, 19 Oct 2008 5:49 pm

Hi,

Has anyone been to the Batam Hills Golf Resort for a game of 18 holes? Can anyone share their experience? I read that it was undergoing renovation and was wondering if it's worth it to check it out for a golf newbie like me?

Any feedback is welcome

Golf In Batam

I was just crusing around the forum and noted you post. I actually have a condo on one of the local Batam courses - Indah Puri and have played all five courses on the island. I would highly recommend the trip for a beginner golfer (like myself) to arrange for either a day or long weekend. You can contact at least some of the clubs, Indah Puri for example, and they will make all the arrangements in a package. This includes the ferry, pickup of you and your clubs at the Batam side, transport to the course, green fees, cart and caddie, and transport back to the ferry and on to Singapore. I believe they actually have an outlet in Singapore.
