Is there are any place to recommend to buy winter boots/shoes for cold weather?
I've checked Winter Time, Cold Wear stores - they don't have any.

You can order winter boots from LL Bean or Land's End, they ship to Singapore.

Can also find them locally at Timberland as well as cold weather clothing.

Is Cold Weather Clothing the same as Cold Wear? They already tried there, no dice.
Timberlands will cost a bomb here, and Land's End has a lot on sale right now. Not as much as you think for shipping and better suited for the cold weather I bet.

There's an outdoor store down at Marina Square - Level 2 from memory - they seem to have a reasonable range....HTH, Mr. P and Ms. C

why not go to where ever you are going and buy it there? the chances of you stepping out of the plane in to 2 metre of snow is pretty slim, so long as you are not wearing flip flops you should be able to make it to the local shops from the plane (the airport may even stock it)
I noticed the indoor ski slope here has a well stock snow board shop they might have it.

Tahnks guys for the recomendations
Need it quiet urgent, but i'm afraid shipping takes some time; would prefer just to go to the local store and buy something simple; anyway need boots for couple of days only.

Buy decent boots being penny wise with cold weather boots is a false economy.

Especially when tekking in Tibet and Nepal - been there, done that!
Seriously, as QRM says - go get a good pair and get them fitted properly.

Hi D,
Its not too easy to get winter boots here...the inner layer might not keep you as warm as you can get in your home town.
Which type are u looking for? Its end of the year now...u may try Marina Sq..as they have some shops selling boots.
Cheers
Debs

Okay, let's try it another way..... just for you.....
You can find cold weather shoes and clothing at Timberland as well.
There was a reason why cold weather clothing wasn't capitalized.

Alright, alright, I don't need to be hit over the head, just though there were two ways of looking at it especially considering your propensity for typos.

Go get it at Campers Corners, nearest station is City Hall MRT, the stretch of shops facing SMRT building near SMU.
