Advice on getting a job...

Post by hannahhanj » Wed, 15 Oct 2008 4:31 pm

Hi,

I seem to be hitting a brick wall finding a job - have been searching and applying online, trying to speak to job agencies but without luck.

I graduated in '05 from Oxford and have since worked in E-commerce in the UK, in operations/account management/marketing. I'd ideally like to work for a MNC in that kind of area, but to be honest would consider most reasonable suggestions. I have a long term social visit permit (similar to dependents), have taken self-assessment on MOM and look likely to get a work permit fine.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get head-hunters to actually put you forward for jobs/how to get in with MNCs or any other suggestions?

Many thanks for any help!

Hannah

LTSVP is far behind DP, and DP still means almost nothing to recruiters :P

Have you tried getting EPEC? Might help with the job hunt.

I was about to say the same thing.
