Anybody got nice information on where to travel to for a nice short holiday? Especially now everywhere is cost-cutting, budgetted would be preferred... haha!
anyway i just visited bintan, i stayed at bintan lagoon resort and it was nice! i love the beach there, so clean! but food is not cheap, same pricing like singapore.
they even got a blog... quite hip~

i was thinking a good option might be to look out for cheap-ass tiger flights to thailand or vietnam.
the money you save can go towards a hotel room and food's probably inexpensive if you have a hardy stomach.
that might be what i'll do in the following months!

A short trip would mean any location like phuket, bangkok, bali and Ho Chi Minh City. These are budgeted spots which are culturally fascinating with lotsa tastebud appealing street snacks all around the place.
