Paddling

Post by gagabru » Wed, 15 Oct 2008 11:17 am

I have just arrived from Sydney (will be staying in Sing for 3 years) and am looking for information on kayaking / canoe clubs to join or places to paddle with my own surfski/kayak. I did a great deal of surf skiing in Sydney and want to continue here in Singapore.

I found a few paddling posts but they seem to be all about dragon boat racing (I will try this out as well)

Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
G

hi.

there are clubs like the singapore paddle club and some other private clubs offering different types of rowing facilities. ( k1 flatwater, OC, DB tec. )

you could of course choose to leave your boat at water venture. my friends and i rent boats from water venture to go on expeditions. (:

you could contact me and we could arrange to paddle together. (:
i'd love to try surfski, but unfortunately, i cant rent it anywhere!
