church service

Can someone recommend a church with good English service for expats? Preferablly a Methodist church.

Sure they are, but since this is an Expat Forum, the OP is asking a perfectly legitimate question, especially since the local accents and customs may interfere with the actual service. While not Methodist, lots of expats like International Baptist Church and St. Ignatious (Catholic) both in the King's Rd. area. There is also a nice service at St. George's at Minden Rd and at the Methodist Girls' School off Bukit Timah (not many expats there though). Also check out the military chapel at Sembawang. Hope this helps.
