jameseoff wrote:The 'gathering' at ECP Lagoon Food Court went very well,
About 15 people at the peek, Some came late, some left early
Brewerks afterward was nice and social also

So, the new 'Poll' is: should be meet at the same place next Saturday,
but maybe a little later (5.30 or 6pm)

I vote for the same place, (or for somebody else to wear the really bright shirt)

ECP is actually a serene place with all trees/beach...so i wud love to make it happen there everytime...but we must also visit other places provided its commutable to most of the members...
not to mention the fact that its jus behind my apartment.
btw keep us posted on the next meet...

Cheers.

Hey guys, I really enjoyed the ECP Lagoon session last saturday. However, the Jazz @ Siloso seems to be a good idea for this saturday. Who's in?

Well hello

Have there been any decisions for this Saturday? I am 2 and a half weeks old in Singapore terms and would love to come along and say hello...and possibly more than that depending on how interesting I can make myself.... My only thing is that I work 6 evenings a week and start at 7 which means I can only come along for a short while and leave just as everyone was on their 2nd/3rd drink. Ho hum. Still I finish at 11.30pm and could rejoin then. Always look on the bright side.

And if anyone is interested in daytime coffee/illicit afternoon drink mid-work/walk around any part of Singapore/etc etc during the day PLEASE stop me from filling my days reading Newsweek by the pool. Seriously a girl can only take so much before the madness sets in...

RATS!! I have yet to go to a Hawkers Centre. Thing is about ECP LAgoon is that tis too far for me to get back to work at the Shang for 7pm. Grrrr. May I please request that some kindly person lets me know if there are plans to head out on Saturday night. I finish work at 11.30 and would love to join in the fun...even if I am meeting people who have already drunk their body weight in cocktails/beer/etc....

Hey ladies and gentlemen,

What's next on the coming weekend? After going thru the fantastic eating fest, sentosa beach, birthday celebration.....what should we do next?

Any suggestions?????

1) Dinner at Serangoon Garden with wonderful stingray before we proceed to some Karaoke Session.
2) Dinner at Holland Village before we proceed for some drinks.
3) Bowling session

Do put in suggestions and we can discuss over it.....

Cheers to the group.....

Alan
