well there are 3 types of employment passes in SG..
Q1
P2
P1
categorized based on ur salary and designation in de company...
rough estimate...
$2500-4000 - Q1
$4000-7000 - P2
$7000 & above its P1..
and u have restrictions abt bringing in family to stay with you...
for more details check www.mom.gov.sg, ths would give you more details on the passes/ur guidelines...blah blah...basically rules and regulations..
Cheers..

I have some more doubts,
a weeks before ,I have received an In-Principle approval letter for Employment pass from my XXXX Consultant ...
1. Is it mean by my EP confirmed 100% right ?
2. Is any issues would come once if i reach to singapore?
3. Is any possibility to get PR (pl mind my EP-Q1 for 1 year contract only)?
Your suggestions are appreciated...
Thanks in advance...

buddy u r askin too many questions...i gave u a link to read thro the site...thats actually Ministry of Manpower(MOM) which approves your EP.
1. Is it mean by my EP confirmed 100% right ?
yeah...ur current letter serves as a visa to enter SG.
once u come here , you ll get an embarkation card at the singapore immigration(@ airport).
u need submit ur passport/in principle letter/embarkation card/photo and they would apply for EP and get the card.
2. Is any issues would come once if i reach to singapore?
No issues.
3. Is any possibility to get PR (pl mind my EP-Q1 for 1 year contract only)?
man...first u come to SG...PR depends on case by case...i know ppl who have got it after completion of one yr and some ppl whose application was rejected even after 3 yrs...
all de best

no probs pal...
jus kidding...
too much of precaution is as well not good...
so don worry...
as the other members stated ...the current economic climate s pretty worse..
so if u r comfortable there, its better to be there...unless of course u wanna take this risk of coming here...
Cheers..
