Well, I guess I can thank my lucky stars then. My wife and I are wearing identical wide band wedding bands without any stones of any kind! She is now sporting a second smaller band as of last week which is, by her own choice a silver band (for our recent 25th Silver Anniversary).
I gave her a choice when we got married. a 1 caret diamond or the wedding of her choice. She opted for the wedding and today all we have are faded memories as the tapes and pics have all gone moldy/faded. She now realizes that the diamond would have been the smarter choice but at least she's got her faded memories........ She still doesn't want a diamond though?!? So I'm a lucky feller as well.
